I Solisti Veneti is an Italian chamber orchestra that's been bringing Baroque and classical music to life since 1959. Founded by conductor Claudio Scimone in Padua, this ensemble specializes in vibrant interpretations of Italian composers like Vivaldi, Corelli, and Albinoni – a passion clearly reflected in their recent releases of flute concertos, operatic overtures, and festive Christmas works. Known for their crisp, energetic performances, they’ve become ambassadors for rediscovered gems and familiar classics alike, often championing lesser-known pieces from the Venetian school.

Over decades, I Solisti Veneti has built a massive discography (including collaborations with legends like Uto Ughi) while staying true to their roots. Their albums, like the Albinoni oboe concertos or Vivaldi flute collections, showcase their knack for balancing historical sensitivity with theatrical flair.
