Ventilader

Ventilader is a Mexican rock band from Mexico City, known for their indie rock and alternative music. Formed in 2005, the group has been a key player in the Mexican music scene. The band's lead vocalist, Jorge Marrón, originally from Acapulco, co-founded Ventilader with drummer Carlos González (Mersi) after the two met while pursuing studies in Monterrey. Ventilader gained significant recognition, releasing several albums, including *Ápice* (2007), *Olas* (2009), *Astromelia* (2011), and *No es un adiós* (2014). The band has performed at major festivals like Vive Latino, Corona Capital, and SXSW. They have also signed with significant labels like Sony Music and have collaborated with notable artists such as Leonel García and Natalia Lafourcade on their album *No es un adiós*.

Ventilader's music style blends elements of pop rock, indie rock, and alternative rock. Over the years, they have maintained a strong presence in the Mexican music scene, celebrating milestones like their tenth anniversary at the Lunario in 2015. The band's lineup has included members such as Jorge Marrón, Carlos González, Jorge L. Navarro (Praim), and Gonzálo Herrerias (Gonchis). Their more recent releases include titles like *Lucha de Gigantes* and *Guía y Pasajero*.
