The Funkin' Machine
The Funkin' Machine are a Naples-based funk/disco collective whose sound blends cosmic disco, jazz-funk, Afro‑Italo and Mediterranean boogie; they released the LP Napoletanite and singles such as "Nun Trovo Cchiù," "Chiki Chicancan" and "'O Tiempo 'e Ce Spassà" on labels including Star Creature and Kagoshima Records.
Their music is described as a sparkling, groovy fusion rooted in Neapolitan rhythms and club-ready production, and the project is presented as a collaboration between Napoli’s scene and Chicago’s Star Creature Universal Vibrations, with releases available on vinyl and digital platforms.
