St. Nelly-sade

St. Nelly-sade, born Nsubuga Nelson, is a prominent Ugandan Lugaflow rapper known for his dynamic performances and contributions to the hip-hop scene. Born in 1988 in Kampala, he began his musical journey experimenting with poetry and rap during his teenage years. St. Nelly-sade has performed at various national and international stages, including the Bayimba International Festival of the Arts and the LaBa Arts Festival. He is also recognized for his work with projects like The Hip Hop Canvas and his own initiative, Mic Stand Hip Hop night, which he started in 2011.

St. Nelly-sade has released several notable albums, including "The Translation (Okutaputa)" and "Omulondo N'engero (Stories of Elevation)". He has received significant awards, such as Album of the Year at the UG HipHop Awards in 2017 and Lyricist of the Year at the MTN UG HipHop Awards in 2019.
