D-Influence

D-Influence, also known as D'Influence and D-Vas in some of their work, is a British music collective primarily known for their contributions to the UK soul and funk scene. They emerged in the early 1990s, and quickly garnered attention for their smooth blend of R&B, jazz, funk, and soul, making them one of the key figures in the UK's acid jazz movement. The group evolved through various iterations and line-up changes over the years, but key members such as Sarah Anne Webb, Kwame Kwaten, Ed Baden-Powell, and Steve Marston provided a consistent core of creativity and expertise, bringing musical diversity and innovation to their sound.

D-Influence had a knack for fusing contemporary R&B trends with classic soul sensibilities, which resonated widely with audiences in the UK and beyond. Throughout their career, they have not only produced their own impactful music but also lent their production and writing talents to other artists, contributing to the works of notable figures in the music industry. Album releases such as "Good 4 We" and "London" showcase their versatility and the depth of their artistry. With their distinct sound and collaborative spirit, D-Influence has left an indelible mark on the British music landscape, influencing a new generation of artists and continuing to be celebrated for their contributions to the genre.
