Troveros de Asieta

**Troveros de Asieta** are a vibrant Canarian band with Cuban roots, founded in 1991 on the island of La Palma. Born from the cultural exchange between the Canary Islands and Cuba, their sound blends traditional Cuban rhythms like son and guaracha with Latin jazz, celebrating a shared heritage of migration and music. Over three decades, they’ve released nine albums, including *Influencias del Latin Jazz* (2020) and *Querida Cuba* (2017), earning critical acclaim as one of Europe’s foremost Cuban music acts—even snagging Cuba’s prestigious Premio Cubadisco in 2012.

Known for electrifying live performances, they’ve shared stages with legends like Eliades Ochoa, Cachao, and Pancho Amat, while collaborating with artists such as Albita Rodríguez and Raimundo Amador. Their work, from *Bailando con Lecuona* (2004) to *Aqui en la Isla* (2008), keeps Cuban traditions alive while pushing boundaries, like fusing jazz influences on their 2020 album.
