Lord Vigo

Lord Vigo is a German epic metal band hailing from the Rhineland-Palatinate region, specifically around Landstuhl. Named after the spectral villain from the movie Ghostbusters II, the group crafts a unique blend of epic doom and heavy metal, often described as a chimera of classic steel, NWoBHM-guitar harmonies, and atmospheric synth-driven soundscapes. Their music is influenced by bands like Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus, and Manilla Road, and their releases—such as Under Carpathian Sun, Blackborne Souls, and the more recent Walk The Shadows—showcase a band that evolves across each album, from traditional epic doom to a darker, gothic-inspired palette.

Lord Vigo’s members use nicknames inspired by Ghostbusters lore, like Vinz Clortho (vocals, drums, organ), Tony Scoleri (guitars, bass), and Volguus Zildrohar (guitars, bass), adding to their mysterious and theatrical identity.
