Low Budget Blues Band

Low Budget Blues Band was a Swedish blues band active in various periods between 1982 and 1994. Despite being composed of professional musicians, they maintained the character of a hobby band. The band's repertoire initially focused on blues but later expanded to include rhythm & blues, country rock, and country, always with a strong blues foundation. They released three albums: the self-titled "Low Budget Blues Band" in 1983, "Low Budget Blues Band Vol. II" in 1990, and "Country File" in 1994. The band's lineup evolved over time, with notable members including Mats Ronander, Lasse Wellander, Niklas Medin, Hasse Olsson, Nikke Ström, and Pelle Alsing.

The band's music career was marked by periodic activity and changes in its composition. Their releases often featured a mix of original compositions and interpretations of classic blues and country influences. With a diverse sound that stretched beyond traditional blues, Low Budget Blues Band left a lasting impact within the Swedish music scene during their active years.
