GAWNE, born Luke Gawne on March 12, 1997, is an American rapper from Oak Park, Illinois. Known for his fast, aggressive rapping style, GAWNE turned to music after a brain injury derailed his high school sports career. He struggled with pain and addiction before finding solace in rap. GAWNE's career took off in 2019 with the release of "Rise," and he's since collaborated with artists like Mac Lethal, Futuristic, and Tech N9ne.
In late 2023, GAWNE gained wider attention when he collaborated with basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal on the single "Chaos." This partnership also resulted in O'Neal gifting GAWNE a custom Rolls-Royce worth $1 million. GAWNE continues to release music, with recent tracks including "Rainy Days" and "Standing On My Business".
