Stereo Nova

Stereo Nova was a seminal Greek electronic music group that emerged in the early 1990s, forging a path that would leave an indelible mark on the Greek music scene. Comprised of acclaimed members K.BHTA (Kostas Vita), Michalis Delta, and Antonis Pi, the band initially came together in Athens and quickly distinguished themselves for their innovative blend of electronic music with elements of techno, ambient, and acid house, while incorporating poignant Greek lyrics. This fusion created a unique soundscape that resonated deeply with the youth of Greece, reflecting the social and cultural dynamics of the era.

Throughout their active years which spanned most of the '90s until their disbandment in 1997, Stereo Nova created a discography that could be described as both prescient and timeless. They began with their eponymous debut album and continued through the decade, crafting soul-stirring tracks that often addressed existential angst and the human condition, encapsulated in albums like "Discolata," "Telson," and "Asyrmatos Kosmos." Despite dissolving, the band's influence continues to be felt, and the members have individually continued to make significant contributions to music. In celebration of their musical journey, the group has released anniversary editions and remastered collections of their work, such as "Stereo Nova (30th Anniversary Edition) [1992-2022]," ensuring that their avant-garde soundscapes continue to inspire new generations of listeners and musicians alike.
