Si Begg (born Simon Begg) is a British electronic music producer, DJ, and sonic experimenter who’s been bending genres since the ’90s. Known for his gritty beats, cheeky titles, and relentless innovation, he’s hopped between techno, breakbeat, electro, and bass music like a mad scientist with a sampler. A key figure in the UK underground, he’s released work under aliases like Buckfunk 3000 and Naked Trucker, collaborated with artists from Coldcut to Surgeon, and even dabbled in audio installations and sound design.
Lately, he’s been scoring soundtracks like a champ—see *Honeymoon at Cold Hollow* and *Jackdaw*—while still dropping club-ready bangers (*Welcome to the Discotheque 2024*) and sardonic social commentary (*LOL I DON’T CARE…*).
