**Putred** is a Romanian death metal band from Transylvania that formed in 2020, specializing in gore-themed lyrics exclusively written in their native language. Originally a studio project, the band coalesced around members like vocalist/bassist Filip Garlonta (Necrotum) and a rotating lineup of collaborators, including Mexican drummer Dante Valladares on early recordings. Their sound evolved with live performances, incorporating members like bassist Corina Barb and Vorus drummer Doru, while staying rooted in slow, down-tuned death metal. Recent releases such as *Repulsie Post-Mortem* and the 2025 album *Megalit Al Putrefacției* (featuring an Autopsy cover) showcase their commitment to raw, rotting atmospheres. They’ve also collaborated with international acts like Putrid Death and Eruptive on splits.
