Valfreya

Valfreya is a symphonic Viking metal band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, founded in February 2009 by Corinne Cardinal, also known as Crook. The band combines elements of symphonic, death, and folk metal to create a unique sound that is both aggressive and epic. Their music often explores themes of mythology and legend, evident in albums like "Path to Eternity" and "Promised Land." Over the years, Valfreya has released several notable works, including the acoustic EPs "Acoustic Chronicles" and "Acoustic Chronicles Part II," which showcase their versatility. Recently, they have been working on new material, with releases like "Le Périple" and "The Rise" from their latest album "Dawn of Reckoning."

Valfreya's lead vocalist, Corinne Cardinal, is also a voice actress and vocal coach, known for her diverse vocal techniques and contributions to projects like video games and television series.
