Rouge

Rouge is an iconic Brazilian pop girl group that first captivated audiences in the early 2000s. Formed in 2002 through the reality television show "Popstars" on SBT and produced by Rick Bonadio, Rouge quickly rose to prominence with their infectious blend of Latin-influenced pop and dance music, fused with elements of R&B. The original lineup consisted of Aline Wirley, Fantine Thó, Karin Hils, Li Martins (formerly known as Patrícia Lissah), and Luciana Andrade – the latter of whom left the group in 2004. The band’s self-titled debut album "Rouge" (2002) featured the explosive hit "Ragatanga" (Aserejé), which became a cultural phenomenon, establishing them as a major force in the Latin American music scene.

After an initial disbandment in 2006, Rouge made a triumphant return in 2017, much to the delight of their dedicated fan base, which had remained enthusiastic throughout their hiatus. The comeback was marked by nostalgic performances and new music that resonated with both long-time fans and a new generation of listeners. Amongst their post-reunion works, "Rouge Sessions - De Portas Abertas" showcases the group's dynamic vocal harmonies and pop sensibilities in an intimate acoustic format. Meanwhile, "Les 5inq," their fifth studio album, mirrors their grand comeback with newly evolved sounds, blending contemporary pop with the vibrant energy that originally made them stars.
