SamulNori is a South Korean percussion quartet that has been performing since 1978. The group's name comes from the Korean words "samul" (four objects) and "nori" (play), and their music is based on traditional Korean rhythms and melodies. SamulNori has performed all over the world, and they have been credited with helping to popularize Korean traditional music. The group's members are Kim Duk-soo (kkwaenggwari), Kim Yong-tae (ching), Choi Jong-sil (buk), and Lee Kwang-soo (janggu).
