Liliana Kehayova is a talented Bulgarian cellist and a fourth-generation musician. She is currently a Cello Professor at New Bulgarian University and serves as the General Secretary of the International Music Academy Orpheus in Vienna since 2014. As a passionate performer of solo and chamber music, Liliana has participated in numerous music festivals and recitals across Europe. She has performed with prestigious orchestras such as the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, Mitteleuropa Orchestra Udine, and the Varna Philharmonic Orchestra. Liliana has also been involved in various recording projects, including a notable release of Myaskovsky & Rimsky-Korsakov: Cello Works.
Liliana has received several scholarships, including those from "Thomastik - Infeld Vienna" and "Bank Austria," and was honored with the grand scholarship from the Austrian foundation "Alban Berg" in 2012. She graduated from the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov" in Sofia and pursued her Master's degree in cello performance at the Vienna Conservatory under Lilia Schulz-Bayrova. Her performances have taken her to iconic venues like Musikverein in Vienna and the Athenaeum in Bucharest.
