Joseph Leopold Eybler
Joseph Leopold Eybler was an Austrian composer born in 1765. He studied music in Vienna and became a successful opera composer, writing over 30 operas. Eybler also composed sacred music, including masses, oratorios, and cantatas. He was appointed Kapellmeister of the Vienna Court Opera in 1824 and held the position until his death in 1846. Eybler's music is known for its melodic beauty and expressive harmonies.
