Adam Konkol

Adam Konkol is a Polish guitarist, composer, and songwriter born on December 23, 1975, in Rydułtowy, best known as the founder of the popular rock band Łzy. He kicked off his music journey in Pszów, teaching himself drums and later guitar and keyboards, starting the band Rave in 1992 before launching Łzy, where he crafted or co-wrote massive hits like “Narcyz się nazywam,” “Niebieska sukienka,” and “Oczy szeroko zamknięte”—many drawn from his own life stories.

With Łzy, Adam snagged seven gold, four platinum, and one diamond record, plus awards like the audience prize at Opole Festival and Superjedynka honors for best band and song. He's also the owner of Konkol Music label and a music promoter, releasing solo tracks like "Tytanik" and "Bardzo długa zima." In recent years, he's faced tough health battles, including a lung cancer diagnosis in 2024 and a stroke in 2025.
