Immortal Disfigurement

**Immortal Disfigurement** is an American **symphonic deathcore** band that formed in 2021 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, founded by vocalist CJ McCreery and guitarist Josh Freeman. McCreery brings serious pedigree to the project, having previously fronted respected deathcore acts Lorna Shore and Signs of the Swarm. The band's sound blends brutal, filthy deathcore with symphonic elements, creating a dense, atmospheric take on the genre. They dropped their debut single "Dragged Through the Inferno" in 2022 and released their first full-length album *King* in June 2024 after some lineup turbulence. The current roster includes Josh Freeman on guitar, Shane Slade (formerly of Winds of Plague) on bass, and Suki on drums, alongside McCreery's devastating vocal performances.

Since signing to Seek and Strike Records in 2025, Immortal Disfigurement has been on an upward trajectory. They've been steadily building momentum with singles like "Gospel of Annihilation" and their 2025 EP *Hell Is Right in Front of Us*, showcasing their ability to craft intricate breakdowns paired with orchestral flourishes. The band made their international debut at Finland's Rockfest in June 2025, and with their expanded lineup now including guitarist Jacob Toy (also formerly of Signs of the Swarm), they're positioned as one of the newer acts pushing the symphonic deathcore sound forward.
