The Orange Opera is a four-piece indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2010, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Adam Gnade, bassist and vocalist Matt Carle, drummer and vocalist Chris Egan, and keyboardist and vocalist Matt Kivlin. The band's sound has been described as a mix of indie rock, post-punk, and psychedelic pop. They have released three albums, "Year of the Beard" (2012), "Ant Muscle" (2015), and "Land of Tall" (2018). The Orange Opera has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The National, Interpol, and Spoon.
