Los Vidrios Quebrados

Los Vidrios Quebrados was a pioneering Chilean rock band formed in 1964, known for bringing early rock and roll, beat, and pop rock sounds to Chile. Initially called "Los Lawyers," the group started by playing covers of British bands like The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, and The Yardbirds, reflecting their strong English rock influence. Their core members were university students who crafted their own instruments and performed in schools before gaining wider recognition.

In 1967, they released their only album *Fictions*, which showcased sophisticated and forward-thinking arrangements that stood out in the Chilean rock scene of the time. The band gained popularity through TV appearances and radio play, especially appreciated for their complex harmonies and musicality. However, their career was relatively brief, as members relocated abroad by 1969, leading to the group's dissolution. Despite their short run, Los Vidrios Quebrados left a lasting mark as one of Chile's most important early rock bands.
