Thiago Trad

Thiago Trad is a Brazilian percussionist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer whose music is deeply rooted in traditional Brazilian rhythms like frevo, forró, and samba, while also blending elements of rock, jazz, and experimental sounds. His 2018 debut album, *Moscote*, showcases these influences and pays homage to legendary Brazilian musicians such as Hermeto Pascoal and Naná Vasconcelos. More recently, he collaborated with Neil Leonard on the EP *Bahia Calling* in 2025, highlighting his ongoing creative exploration within Brazilian and contemporary music styles.
