Bluejuice

Bluejuice was an effervescent Australian band known for their eclectic blend of rock, hip hop, and electronic influences, paired with their proactive attitude and kinetic stage presence. Formed in Sydney in the early 2000s, the group consisted of lead vocalist Jake Stone, bassist Jamie Cibej, keyboardist/vocalist Stav Yiannoukas, drummer James Hauptmann, and various other musicians who contributed to their vibrant sound over the years. They quickly became known for their irrepressible energy and catchy, often satirical songwriting.

The band reached notable success with singles like "Vitriol" and "Broken Leg," which became anthems on the Australian music scene, each showcasing their signature mix of punchy beats and sharp-witted lyrics. Albums such as "Head of the Hawk" and "Company" further solidified their place in the Australian music landscape. Known for their theatrical live performances, Bluejuice was a staple at festivals and gigs, as encapsulated in their "Live At The Big Day Out 2014" recording. After over a decade of music and mischief, the band parted ways in 2014, leaving behind a legacy captured through their final compilation "Retrospectable," which offered a celebratory glance back at their vivid career.
