The group, hailing from Bellville, Cape Town, was originally composed of members Hunter Kennedy and Jaco 'Snakehead' Venter, both also members of the punk band Fokofpolisiekar, with Laudo Liebenberg on vocals and rhythm guitar, and Hennie van Halen on bass.
