Voom

Voom is a New Zealand indie pop band formed in 1982. The band is known for its catchy melodies, jangly guitars, and introspective lyrics. Voom's music has been described as a mix of The Smiths, The Cure, and The Byrds. The band has released six albums, including "Everyone" (1984), "Martin Phillipps" (1986), and "We Don't Care" (1988). Voom has toured extensively throughout New Zealand and Australia, and has also performed in the United States and Europe.
