Tom Graf

Tom Graf is a contemporary jazz composer and songwriter who first made waves in 1987 co-writing "Yes" for Merry Clayton’s contribution to the *Dirty Dancing* soundtrack, which sold over 32 million copies worldwide. After decades of crafting music ranging from soulful collaborations (including work with Confunkshun) to TV and radio commercials, he’s released eight jazz albums as a bandleader, blending smooth jazz, Latin rhythms, and bluesy textures. His 2024 release *Struttin’* marks his first jazz project since 2020, featuring Bay Area studio musicians who bring his compositions to life with cinematic flair. Tracks like *Radio*, *Jazz Routes*, *Wish You Were Here*, and *Smokin’* reflect his knack for groove-centric, easy-listening jazz that’s both sophisticated and accessible.
