Erik Palmberg

Erik Palmberg is a Swedish trumpeter and composer known for his expressive and lyrical sound, deeply rooted in the jazz tradition with a modern Nordic touch. Based in Stockholm, he was educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and the Jazz-Institut-Berlin. His musical journey began in a musical family, where he initially quit playing the trumpet but resumed it in his twenties. Palmberg has released several critically acclaimed albums, including *First Lines* (2018), *In Between* (2021), and his latest, *Faces* (2024). He is recognized for his work both in Sweden and internationally, including extensive tours in Germany. Palmberg is also a sought-after sideman, playing with groups like Horncraft, Lexingtone, and the Blue House Jazz Orchestra.

His music often blends traditional jazz with contemporary influences, showcasing a refined style and approach.
