Aposento

Aposento is a Spanish death metal band formed in 1990, hailing from Logroño, Spain. Initially active until 1997, they released several demos and an EP during this period, including the notable "Eternal Agony" demo in 1993 and the "Welcome to Darkness" EP in 1997. After disbanding, they reformed in 2012 and have since released multiple albums, including "Aposento" (2014), "Conjuring a New Apocalypse" (2020), and their latest effort, "No Safe Haven" (2024). Their music is characterized by pure old-school death metal elements, featuring brutal riffs and heavy rhythms, aligning with the genre's roots while maintaining a modern edge.

Aposento's sound is deeply rooted in the classic death metal scene, eschewing modern trends like groove metal in favor of a raw, aggressive style reminiscent of bands from the late 80s and mid-90s. Their recent work has been well-received, particularly for its brutal intensity and focus on traditional death metal elements, making them a standout in the genre.
