Lahav Shani

Lahav Shani is an Israeli conductor and pianist who's been making waves in the classical music scene with his vibrant energy and technical brilliance. Born in 1989 in Tel Aviv, Shani started as a piano prodigy, studying under legends like Daniel Barenboim and collaborating early with Martha Argerich (yep, that’s why her Beethoven/Ravel album appears in his releases!). By his late 20s, he’d shifted focus to conducting, quickly landing major gigs like Chief Conductor of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra in 2018 and Music Director Designate of the Munich Philharmonic, set to begin in 2026.
