The Giant Peach is an indie rock band from Vermont formed by students at Middlebury College. The group is fronted by singer-songwriter Harrison Wood Hsiang, who writes the band's music. Other members include Max Shashoua on guitar, Jacob Shashoua on drums, Gloria Breck on violin and keys, and Mike Nunziante on slide guitar. The Giant Peach released their debut album "Pulling Teeth" in April 2018, which Hsiang described as a personal record about the excitement of first love and the loss of innocence that came with its end. The album was largely recorded in Hsiang's dorm room at Middlebury, with the exception of the track "Coats" recorded at Meadowlark Studios.
