:Skull & dawn:

:Skull & Dawn: is a Greek dark Americana duo whose origins date back to 1999, initially starting as an industrial noise trio named Trick or Treat? They evolved through folk and classical influences in their Défilé Des Âmes phase before embracing a unique Southern Gothic and dark Americana sound. Their music blends haunting stories of dead lovers, serial killers, and lost souls with deep Americana roots, drawing comparisons to artists like The Bad Seeds and King Dude. Their second full-length album, *The Harvest*, was released in October 2025 on The Circle Music label, featuring standout tracks such as "Down to Hell (Black Cat Bar)" and "Zombie Horses" that showcase their atmospheric and intense style.

The band is noted for integrating unconventional tools and sounds into their compositions, including hammers and electric screwdrivers in their early industrial phase. Over the years, they have built a solid reputation for brooding lyrics and a rich sonic atmosphere, maintaining strong live performances alongside various notable artists. Their 2016 debut album *Zombie Horses* marked their official dive into dark Americana, firmly establishing their sound and thematic focus on American folklore and Southern Gothic narratives.
