Metro Station

Metro Station is an American pop rock band that formed in Los Angeles, California in 2006. The original lineup consisted of Trace Cyrus and Mason Musso, who were introduced to each other on the set of the television show "Hannah Montana," which starred Trace's sister, Miley Cyrus, and Mason's brother, Mitchel Musso. Initially, the band's infectious blend of punk energy and pop sensibilities caught the attention of fans and record labels alike, leading to the release of their self-titled debut album in 2007. Their breakout single "Shake It" became a chart-topping hit, propelling the band into mainstream success.

Throughout their career, Metro Station has been known for their electro-pop sound, characterized by catchy hooks and danceable beats. The band faced challenges and underwent line-up changes, with members leaving and rejoining at various points. Despite the changes and a brief disbandment in 2010, Metro Station continued to produce music and engage with their fan base. The band's discography has expanded over the years to include EPs like "Middle of the Night" and "Kelsey," which demonstrate their ability to innovate while maintaining the core elements of their signature sound. Singles such as "I Hate Society" and "Bury Me My Love" are recent offerings that showcase Metro Station's continued evolution as musicians and their resilience in the ever-changing landscape of pop rock music.
