Tan Sri P. Ramlee, born Teuku Zakaria bin Teuku Nyak Puteh, was a legendary Malaysian actor, singer, director, and composer. Known as the "Father of Malaysian Cinema," he is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the country's entertainment industry. Throughout his illustrious career, P. Ramlee produced over 60 films, composed over 300 songs, and directed numerous stage productions. His unique blend of Malay and Western influences in his music and films left an enduring legacy on Malaysian culture.
