22-Pistepirkko is a delightfully quirky Finnish alternative rock band formed in the late 1980s by brothers Asko and P-K Keränen, along with Espe Haverinen. Hailing from the tiny village of Virolahti, their sound blends garage rock, blues, and pop with a playful, experimental edge, earning them a cult following in Scandinavia and beyond. Known for their absurdist lyrics, twangy guitars, and P-K’s raspy vocals, they’ve released over a dozen albums, including recent eclectic drops like *The Kings of Hong Kong* (2021) and *Rumble City Lala Land* (2019).
