Rachael Yamagata

Rachael Yamagata is an American singer-songwriter known for her soulful vocals and introspective lyrics. Born in Arlington, Virginia, she began playing piano at a young age and later studied music at New York University. Yamagata's debut album, "Happenstance," was released in 2004 and featured the hit single "Worn Me Down." Since then, she has released several more albums, including "Elephants...Teeth Sinking into Heart" (2008), "Chesapeake" (2011), and "Tightrope Walker" (2016).
