Didactic Scalica

Didactic Scalica is a music project led by Levan Lomidze, an electronic music producer and promoter. Lomidze is also the founder of Datenbits Recordings, a label established in 2008 to promote innovative electronic music, particularly techno and related genres. As Didactic Scalica, he has been involved in various musical endeavors, including the creation of deep techno-house music. His work has been featured on several labels, including Fogpanique, and he has contributed to numerous electronic music compilations.

Lomidze's journey in music began early, with projects like Detect and Fashion Suicide, where he explored different sounds before focusing on Didactic Scalica. His music often reflects a deep and experimental approach to electronic genres. Despite the transition to new labels like Encased Records due to distribution issues, Lomidze continues to be active in the music scene, contributing to events and radio shows.
