A Small Good Thing is an indie folk band from Portland, Oregon. The band was formed in 2010 by singer-songwriter Adam Torres and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Joslyn. Their music is characterized by its sparse arrangements, haunting melodies, and introspective lyrics. A Small Good Thing has released four albums to date, including their most recent, "Slim Westerns, Vol. 2." The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with artists such as Bon Iver, The National, and Sufjan Stevens.
