Glorietta

Glorietta is a musical collective that emerged as a vibrant blip in the indie music scene with a self-titled project that encapsulated a fleeting, but intense camaraderie among its members. The group is a supergroup of sorts, formed by Matthew Logan Vasquez of Delta Spirit, together with Noah Gundersen, Kelsey Wilson of Wild Child, David Ramirez, Jason Robert Blum, and Adrian Quesada of the band Groupo Fantasma. The band's self-titled album, "Glorietta," was recorded in a whirlwind nine-day session in New Mexico, capturing the raw, kinetic energy and heart that the members infused into their collaboration.

The limited lifespan of Glorietta's active period as a collective hasn't stopped them from leaving a strong impression with their releases and performances. Their discography is short but poignant, with tracks such as "Hard Way / Easy Come Easy Go" and "Golden Lonesome / Heatstroke" offering a glimpse into the potent blend of Americana, rock, and folk influences that characterize their sound. The ensemble's chemistry is palpable in their live sessions as well, notably in the series "OurVinyl Sessions," which showcases the group's spontaneous synergy and musical agility. Although they have not followed their initial album with more studio work, the legacy of their brief confluence continues to resonate with fans of heartfelt, collaborative Americana music.
