Emma Björling

Emma Björling is a renowned Swedish musician, celebrated for her captivating performances in both Swedish folk and European Celtic music. She is a member of several notable bands, including Lyy, Skye Consort, Kongero, and Baravox, and has also toured extensively with the Swedish folk band Ranarim. Emma's musical journey began early, with her singing in choirs from the age of six. She has studied jazz and classical music but ultimately found her heart in traditional music, inspired by her grandfather's fiddle playing. She holds degrees from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and Ingesund College of Music, focusing on Swedish traditional music, voice pedagogy, and ensemble teaching.
