Manal, whose full name is Manal Benchlikha, is a Moroccan pop singer-songwriter who has made waves in the North African music scene. Born on September 18, 1993, in Marrakesh, she initially gained attention by posting cover songs on YouTube. Her talent caught the eye of producer DJ Van, leading to her debut in the music industry.

Manal's career took off with her first single "Denia," which earned her the 'Best Female Artist in Northern Africa' award at the Africa Music Awards in 2015. She has since released several popular tracks, including "Taj," "Slay" (featuring ElGrandeToto), and "Nah" (featuring Shayfeen). In 2017, Manal signed with Sony Music Middle East, becoming one of the first Moroccan artists to join a major label in the Arab world. Her music blends Arabic pop with elements of Maghreb hip-hop, Afro-pop, and Afro-house, showcasing her versatile style.
