Alexander Hacke

Alexander Hacke is a Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and noise-punk icon best known as a founding member of the legendary industrial band Einstürzende Neubauten. Since the early 1980s, he’s been shaping experimental music with his gritty basslines, inventive guitar work, and knack for turning unconventional objects into instruments. Beyond the band, Hacke’s solo projects and collaborations—like his atmospheric work with filmmaker Fatih Akin (*The Cut*) or his meditative soundscapes (*Unity*, *Joy*)—showcase his versatility, blending haunting melodies with raw, textural experimentation.
