Razed In Black

Razed in Black is an electronic music project originating from Hawaii, which embodies a fusion of industrial, gothic, and electronic rock. The brainchild of musician Romell Regulacion, Razed in Black surfaced in the mid-1990s, quickly becoming known for its melding of aggressive beats, emotional melodies, and textured synthesizer layers. Regulacion, as the architect of the project, writes, produces, and performs the majority of the music, presenting a passionate and introspective perspective within the goth and industrial scenes.

The band's discography boasts several influential releases that showcase their ability to evolve and remain relevant over time. Their album "Shrieks, Laments, and Anguished Cries," released in the late '90s, set the tone for their darkly energetic sound, while "Sacrificed" offered a more personal and sophisticated approach to songwriting. The release of "Damaged" further cemented their reputation, featuring tracks with an intense mixture of deep emotions and electronic complexity. Known for impressive live performances and engaging covers, "Covers" showcases the group's ability to reinterpret other artists' material with a unique twist. Additionally, "Oh My Goth!" became a club favorite, epitomizing the band's catchy, dancefloor-ready sound. Razed in Black retains a loyal fanbase and continues to shape the soundscapes of the gothic and industrial genres with work such as "Share This Poison - Retrospective," a testament to their enduring impact and creative vigor.
