Dan + Shay

Dan + Shay is an American country music duo composed of vocalists and songwriters Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney. Formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2012, they quickly gained recognition in the country music scene with their smooth harmonies and emotionally driven songwriting. Dan Smyers, hailing from Wexford, Pennsylvania, brings his production skills and musical prowess to the duo, while Shay Mooney, originally from Natural Dam, Arkansas, adds his distinctive vocal abilities that have become a signature element of the group's sound.

The country pop twosome hit the ground running with their debut single "19 You + Me" in 2013 and have since collected a string of accolades including Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and Country Music Association Awards. Their music deftly combines the heart of country storytelling with pop sensibilities, as evidenced by recent releases like "Bigger Houses" and "We Should Get Married". Their collaborations also show their versatility in the industry, such as the pop-country fusion found in "That’s Not How This Works", featuring Sabrina Carpenter. Whether delivering soulful acoustic renditions like "You (Acoustic)" or creating festive tunes like "Pick Out A Christmas Tree" and "Holiday Party", Dan + Shay continue to explore and expand upon their sound, solidifying their place as a staple in contemporary country music.
