Karash

Karash is an electronic artist born in Nice, France, with a musical journey that started early thanks to his father, who introduced him to rock and blues legends like Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd. Over time, Karash’s tastes expanded to include punk, metal, reggae, experimental, and classical music, with the avant-garde group Magma being a particular influence. A pivotal moment came when a friend played him a track by Shiva Shandra, sparking his love for synthesized sounds. In 2000, he discovered Goa music, which set him on the path toward electronic music production. Karash began producing tracks in 2002, initially just for fun, and by 2003 he was organizing parties in Geneva with the collective MTS (MantraTribeSystem), often performing live acts. His creative partnership with Electrypnose led to collaborative albums and a growing presence in the international psytrance scene, with releases on labels like D-A-R-K.net, Peak Record, Dark Prisma Record, and 2TO6 Records.

Karash is now recognized as a key figure in Switzerland’s electronic music community, specializing in psytrance and techno, and his recent work includes standout tracks for 2TO6 Records and collaborations that continue to push boundaries in electronic soundscapes.
