Klapa Sol

Klapa Sol is a male vocal group from Pag, Croatia, active since 1996. The group has been recognized for promoting the tradition of klapa singing, receiving the annual award of the city of Pag in 2009 for these efforts. Klapa Sol is known for their achievements in various music festivals. Notably, they won the Melodije Istre i Kvarnera festival in 2010 with the song "Boduli su duša od Kvarnera" and achieved significant success at the Split Festival in 2010 with the song "Teštament," securing both the first prize from the jury and third place from the public. The group consists of members including Vanja Fabijanić, Dalibor Fabijanić, Dražen Crljenko, Dario Grašo, Davor Dobrijević, and Branko Barbir, who also serves as the artistic director. Some of their recent releases include songs like "More mojih orgulja" and "Mediteraneo."

Their music often reflects the traditional klapa style, which originates from Dalmatia, Croatia, focusing on harmonies and melodies with themes of love, the sea, and homeland. This style is deeply ingrained in Croatian culture and has been recognized as part of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
