Arab trap is a subgenre of trap music that merges the traditional rhythms and melodic elements of Arabic music with the hard-hitting bass and high-hat-centric beats typical of Western trap. This genre often incorporates distinctive Arabic instruments such as the oud, qanun, ney, and various percussion elements, blending them with synthesized sounds and samples to create a rich, cross-cultural soundscape.
