Fidget House

Fidget house is a subgenre of electronic dance music characterized by its frantic, stuttering rhythms, often accompanied by heavy, distorted synthesizers and punk-infused energy. Emerging in the mid-2000s, fidget house drew inspiration from 1980s disco, punk, and French house, with artists embracing a DIY ethos and raw, unpolished sound. The genre's popularity peaked around 2008-2010, with its irreverent, high-octane style captivating club-goers and festival crowds.
