Joropo
Joropo is a lively and passionate traditional music genre originating from the plains (llanos) of Venezuela and Colombia. Characterized by its fast-paced rhythms, virtuosic cuatro (a four-stringed guitar) playing, and intricate harp melodies, joropo blends Spanish, Indigenous, and African influences into a dynamic, celebratory sound.
