Pennsylvania Hardcore
Pennsylvania hardcore, also known as PAHC, is a visceral, energetically-charged subgenre of hardcore punk that embodies the raw emotion and social dissent inherent to its roots, while incorporating elements of punk rock, heavy metal, and thrash. Originating from the vibrant music scenes in cities like Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, PAHC is distinguished by its aggressive riffs, rapid-fire drumming, and confrontational vocals.
