Stenchcore

Stenchcore, a grimy subgenre of crust punk that emerged in the mid-1980s, fuses the raw, aggressive energy of traditional punk with the heavy, distorted sound of metal. Characterized by its apocalyptic and dystopian lyrical themes, stenchcore bands deliver a relentless onslaught of abrasive riffs, thunderous rhythms, and guttural vocals, all cloaked in a visceral, sometimes sludgy atmosphere that evokes the grime and decay of a society in decline.
